Interesting, but tbh with water becoming increasingly scarce and valuable I doubt this technology is much more than a curio.
Granted; however, there is still wayyy more water than oil in the world, and it depends on the quality of water required for use in engines. There is a shortage of pure drinking water, but a whole lot of ocean, and water that isn’t fit to drink. Also, the environmental side-effects are probably pretty different.
True, however should water power become prevalent it would probably not be helpful to think of water as abundant in the same way we once thought of oil.
I still think the ultimate answer lies in a different method of propulsion. Don’t ask me what though – I’m no scientist.
While I am strongly in favour of more sustainable environmental stewardship, I will note that oil does not and has never fallen from the sky nor covered 7/10 of the earth…
I want to see a revivial of Tesla’s free energy machines, dammit. Go go magnetism!
