al-jazeera available locally?
just while we’re talking a little about television (by bizarre serendipity just had a 3 hour meeting with a documentary filmmaker who wants to make a doco about television), the other day it seemed as if Al-Jazeera’s english channel was tuned in on the tv at my brother’s care facility. (ie) available free to air. what the hey? no idea what frequency.

Typical that I didn’t need to google it. Sigh. Although my TV watching will be drastically reduced now that project runway has finished.

It’s also makes up a large content of a new channel called “Stratos”, which can be found on the digital networks – Freeview channel 21 or Sky Digital channel 89.
And, from October 24, Stratos will also be carrying “Scoop TV,” which I’ll be interested to take a look at…
