Oh wait, it's worse
As an update to the last post, things are actually worse than embarassing.
NZ has announced to the world that our emissions cuts of 10-20% are conditional on developing nations cutting emissions by 30-40%. And that we aren’t planning on making any real changes, only meeting those targets by carbon offsetting.
The mind boggles at how shite this is.

We’re only 1/8 of the way through their first term, and there’s a good chance their beneficiary bashing will win them more votes than their climate change, employment, economic, education, health etc policies will lose them.
If that is true, then it is even more embarassing to be a Kiwi…
