Combust In Unity

So, that documentary the moose has been making? It is done. After a lengthier than anticipated process full of learnings, we have final cut, and are ready to submit to festivals and whatnot.

You can find the official (though somewhat beta) website here: combust in unity. That would be the place to check for progress reports and updates.

You can view the first trailer (again, a bit beta) there.

Or below.

Feel free to get all viral on this… 🙂

(Holy, shit, I’ve made a movie. Feels a little abstract.)

    (also, hey that’s me!)

Where to we go to see the whole thing?

Screenings etc are a matter of waiting for film festivals, which generally want premieres – the main one I am targeting in NZ runs next Feb/Mar. There is some possibility of concurrent DVD/online release, as the distribution models are changing.

    World of awesome! 🙂

    Are you aware of Createspace?

A friend in Chicago who made a no-budget horror movie reckons this is a good way to go. I haven’t investigated fully, though.

Yeah, createspace are partnered with withoutabox, who are the thing you submit to festivals through that I am on. At the moment I am kind of defaulting to them as a DVD distribution thing, though if I can find a more local equivalent, that would be nice. Not perfect but pretty good and hands-off

    Cheers 🙂

The background music in the trailer is by my old band, This Charming Mystery… a track called ‘Kilimanjaro’. You should be able to download it from our myspace page, if it is still there.
